FX:marker has been developed with careful research into the needs
of the modern FX trader. Clarity, reliability and ease of use have been
leading factors in producing a flexible and extremely powerful foreign
exchange portal.
The unique “one click” trading method can execute your deals
with lightning speed or you can choose the more leisurely “Trading
Ticket” approach to fine tune your limit or stop orders from 100K
upwards.
Tullett Prebon uses the Macromedia Shockwave plug-in to
collate prices from our market-makers.
We display bids and offers with the amounts available on each side.
Having multiple market makers results in deep and competitive quotes with
tight spreads.
In a particular instance, USD/CHF has been selected and the rate '73-75'
is displayed with the amounts on either side shown below the relevant bid/offer.
With the one hit amount set to default, buying or selling is as easy as
holding down the control key on the normal keyboard and either clicking
on the rate with the mouse, or holding down the control key and hitting
'm' (mine) or 'y' (yours).
The matching engine will then swing into action and - depending on limits
- display in your trade history the closed deal or in the order book if
the amount traded is not fully filled. These orders can be left for completion
later or if the 'fill or kill' option is selected, will be terminated immediately
the rate has moved away from the order sent.
